poems for funeral tributes

Speech writing can be daunting at the best of times, but when you are in the midst of grieving process, it can be extremely difficult to compose yourself enough to write a eulogy worthy of your loved one. A funeral speech is possibly the most important speech that you have ever written.

Maybe you're unsure of your ability to manage your emotions as you share your memories of your loved one. While such responses are fairly common, there's really no cause for worry. Everybody will be in tears and they won t worry if you are too.

If you find meaning in a poem, reading, or quote that reminds you of your loved one, consider sharing it in your eulogy. Memories are bound to come up during your conversation with the aggrieved, and no matter how repetitive it might become, just try to be patient in listening. Using poetry to help with grief, to express love or pain and to memorialize a friend or family member is very powerful and will be appreciated by others who have experienced a loss.

Death is hard to accept but can be made easier by the love extended by people who truly care. I know some of what you are feeling right now which is why I wrote these articles.
