bible scriptures for funerals

When I lost my mother there was no way on earth that I could have written a shopping list never mind poems for funeral tributes. A lot of people choose to read passages from the Bible rather than a poem because they think that this is more appropriate.

You are taking the time and expressing and sharing the love that you felt for that person. These three words are enough to convey to the grieving person that you understand the importance of the deceased person in his life and that you share his sadness. Writing down the information will help you to observe the flow of your eulogy.

Often mementos are kept for many years, framed for the family or left at the grave site as a reminder of the deceased. Organize the materials that you have gathered, pick the data that you will need then prepare an outline. A funeral poem should about the person and their journey through life more than writing down your feelings.

Draft your eulogy then try to edit and polish your work. Be sure, though, not to include anything that may offend or embarrass.
