funeral home directory

When being presented with the task of speaking a eulogy, the thought immediately is followed with an irrational fear of not been seen giving them a fit and proper speech. Perhaps the best way to start approaching the task of writing a eulogy is to go back to the meaning of the word eulogy, which is derived from Greek words translating broadly as a good word.

While such responses are fairly common, there's really no cause for worry. Still others choose to hold a memorial service following the burial in a place special to the deceased. Many people call funeral poems death poems, I for one really hate this expression, as I said earlier everything about the funeral should reflect the person's life.

One can also include the persons photograph along with the vocational and personal interests he was involved with when alive. You should refer to the deceased person by name, using no other terms. We leave the dark and dim home of our mother's womb to discover a new home in a brighter, wider world.

You can include poems, quotations or passages from the Bible, when appropriate. If you are gifted with the blessing and talent of writing poetry for the dead, share it.
