popular funeral hymns

Our society is one that has long incorporated ceremony into important events. Writing eulogy poems usually do not follow a certain rigid format but a few sensible tips would be of great help.

It's a good idea to turn to your church for help. Even so, it does not have to be looked upon as a daunting task. I was looking for something classy and fitting for the best mother in the world, so I went for something by Mary Elizabeth Fry which was a very fitting funeral poem.

The memorial poem could be about an event in the loved one's life or just loving words of a close friend. If you start to break down, take a moment, compose yourself and continue with the speech. Support in whatever form will be greatly appreciated by the bereaved and will weigh favorably on their acceptance of their situation.

Grieving is normal as it forms part of our complex emotions as human beings. Your love for the deceased person will be felt by the people who are listening to your speech.
